A Quilt Made by Us

​

With a background in counselling and textiles, and a lifelong love of art and creativity, I’ve always been drawn to the ways making things can bring people together.

​

Through the Meno Spicy Social events, a space created for neurodivergent women navigating menopause, I’ve seen first hand how powerful it can be to find connection, share experiences and simply feel that you belong. These gatherings inspired me to create something that could bring women together beyond the room, a creative project that women from across the UK can be part of.

​

The project is a collaborative patchwork quilt, with each square created by a different woman in the Meno Spicy Social community.

​

Every square will be as individual and unique as the woman who makes it. Together, these individual pieces will become something bigger: a colourful, imperfect, beautiful whole.

​

The quilt is a celebration of uniqueness, creativity, connection and the power of coming together as a collective. No two squares need to be the same, in fact, the differences are what will make the finished quilt so special.

Whether you're an experienced crafter or have never picked up a needle before, there will be a place for you. This isn't about creating something perfect. It's about expressing yourself, being part of something shared, and adding your own little piece to a much bigger story.
